本種は今のところ本州中部の山岳地帯でしか発見されていない。メスの長翅型のみ知られていたが、最近短翅型が採集された。寄主植物はリンドウ属の葉。

So far, only a macropterous female has been recorded from the mountainous area of central Honshu in Japan, but recently micropterous females were collected. It breeds on the leaves of Gentiana species [Gentianaceae]. The male is unknown.
